TROY — BEAULIEU, Phillipe — A Mass of
Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, November 2, 2000 at 10:30
am in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Troy, VT with the Rev.
Jerome Mercure officiating. An honor guard was provided by the Knights
of Columbus. The readings were proclaimed by Jake Couture. The Offertory
Gifts were presented by members of the Knight of Columbus Matthew
Leonelli and Louis Berthiaume. Words of remembrance were offered by
nephew David Coutu. Interment followed in St. Ignatius Cemetery in
Lowell, VT with Fr. Mercure reading committal prayers. Pallbearers were
nephews John and Paul Magnant, David and Peter Coutu, Philippe Ferland
and Kevin Lister. Arrangements were by the Ready Funeral Home Mountain
View Chapel, 68 Pinecrest Dr., Essex Junction.
PHILIP LEONARD PATNAUDE GRAND
ISLE/WINOOSKI — A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday,
November 2, 2000 at 11 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Winooski
with Rev. Benedict Kiely officiating. The Readings were proclaimed by
Raymond Villemaire. The Altar Servers were Raymond Villemaire and Jeff
Buehner. Words of Remembrance were shared with the many in attendance by
Phil’s brother Kenneth Patnaude. The music was by Celia Kenyon. An honor
guard was presented by members of the American Legion, the Disabled
American Veterans, Harbour Industries and the Vermont Superhogs
Motorcycle Club. Interment followed in the Resurrection Park Cemetery in
South Burlington with Fr. Kiely offering committal prayers. Full
military honors were accorded the deceased by members of the Vermont
Army National Guard. Arrangements were by the LaVigne Funeral Home,
Winooski, VT.
CLAYTON N. VIENS WINOOSKI — A Mass of
Christian Burial was Celebrated Thursday, November 2, 2000, at 11:00
a.m. in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Winooski with Rev. Richard
Lavalley officiating. The Readings were by Thomas Kane. The Music and
singing was by Yvette Tatro and Lucille Dupont. Interment followed in
St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Winooski with Fr. Lavalley offering
committal prayers. Full military honors were accorded the deceased by
members of the Vermont Air National Guard. Arrangements were made by the
LaVigne Funeral Home, Inc. in Winooski.

ESSEX JUNCTION — CHAMPAGNA, Julia R.
(Francis) Vasseur
–Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 3, 2000,
at 11 a.m. in the LaVigne Funeral Home in Winooski with the Rev. Edward
Moore officiating. Interment followed in Holy Family Cemetery in Essex
Junction with Father Moore offering committal prayers. Bearers were Bob
Carlson, Brian LeBlanc, Harrison Lavalette, Jason Dattilio, Pete Columb,
and Phil Gramsby.

WATERBURY — CONTURE, Helen Gage — A
memorial service for Helen Gage Conture, who passed away Sept. 13, 2000,
in Damascus, Md., will be held Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, at 11 a.m. in the
Waterbury Congregational Church in Waterbury.
BURLINGTON — SARGENT, Ruth — Funeral
services were held on Saturday, November 4, 2000 at 10:00 am in the
Ready Funeral Home South Chapel with the Rev. Merry Watters officiating.
Interment followed in Lakeview Cemetery with Rev. Watters offering
committal prayers. Pallbearers were nephews David, Mark, and Michael Cyr
and family friend Gary Quackenbush. Arrangements were by the Ready
Funeral Home South Chapel, 261 Shelburne Rd., Burlington.
NORTH FERRISBURG — YANDOW, Elizabeth A.
— Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in East Charlotte was filled
to capacity Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, as friends and family of Elizabeth
A. Yandow, representatives from the Ferrisburgh Volunteer Fire
Department, St. Anne’s Society, and Addison County FCE celebrated her
long life. Father Donal Ward was the celebrant. Grandchildren Michael
Donnelly and Beth Yandow were lectors. Great-grandchildren Adam, Sara,
Ryan and Nicholas Donnelly were altar servers. The offertory gifts were
presented by Jacklyn and Lauren Yandow and Brittney Kent. Special music
was provided by organist Patricia Turner, soloist Wayne Hobbs Jr., and
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Choir. Interment followed in Holy Family
Cemetery in Essex Junction with the Rev. Ward offering committal
prayers. Bearers were all grandchildren, Michael and Brian Donnelly, and
Tyler, Chris, Richard and Timothy Yandow. May she rest in peace.
Arrangements were by Ready Funeral Home South Chapel, 261 Shelburne
Road, Burlington

BURLINGTON — WELLS, Beverley B.
Funeral Services were held on Monday November 6, 2000 at 10:00 A.M. in
St. James Episcopal Church in Essex Junction, with the Reverend Peter D.
MacLean conducting the service, Intercessor was Kathy Rouleau, Chalice
Assistant was Jennifer Ogelby, Organist was Carol Reichard, and Soloist
was Annette Bouchard who sang ""Wind Beneath My Wings. The
Burial Pall was put on the casket by family members. Lectors were Wanda
Bouchard, and granddaughters Leslie and Kelsey Bilodeau. Gift Bearers
were grandsons Jeremy and Brian Wells. Remembrances were shared by
family members; daughter-in-law Zoanne Wells, son Jeffrey Wells, and
daughter Wendy Bilodeau. Usher was Charles Ordway. Burial followed in
the family lot in Egypt Cemetery, in East Fairfield. Pallbearers were
Lucian Bouchard, Bert Burleson, Dale Burleson, Ricky Burleson, Wayne
LaRock, and Don Wells. Organizations attending the service were from the
Grand Union Co., Bilodeau Wells and Co., Starr Farm Nursing Center,
South Burlington School District, and her St. James Parich Family.
Corbin & Palmer Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant Street, Essex Junction, in
charge of arrangements.

HINESBURG/SO. BURLINGTON — BUSHEY, Dorothy
— A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated for Dorothy Bushey
Wednesday November 8, 2000 at 1 pm in the St. John Vianney Roman
Catholic Church with Father John Hamilton celebrant and Deacon Joe Lane
assisting. Music was provided by Lois Desautel as organist and Nancy
Greene as soloist. Alter servers were Michele Ouclair, Laurette Verret,
Jay Keller and Frank Myers. The readings were done by Laurette Verret.
Words of remembrence were said by her daughter-in-law Jeannie Bushey.
Pall bearers were Jeremy Mashteare, David Ploof, Sr., Frankie Mercier;
also her three grandsons, Keith Bushey, Timothy Davis and David Ploof,
Jr. Burial followed in Ressurection Park Cemetery with Fr. Hamilton
conducting the committal prayers and Deacon Lane assisting. A poem was
read by her granddaughter Kristine Davis. Corbin & Palmer Funeral
Home, 71 So. Union St, Burlington was in charge of arrangements.

WINOOSKI — LaFERRIERE, Walter R. — A
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, November 9, 2000 at
9:30 a.m. in the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Winooski with
Rev. Richard Lavalley officiating. The Readings were proclaimed by Diane
Potvin. The music was by Lucille Dupont and Yvette Tatro. Interment
followed in the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery with Fr. Lavalley offering
committal prayers. Bearers were Walter’s nephews, Jeff Blondin, Mike
Blondin, Tim Blondin, Tracy Blondin, John Blondin, and Dick Messier.
Arrangements were by the LaVigne Funeral Home, Winooski.

RICHMOND — BROWN, Michael Paul — Funeral
services were held Friday, Nov. 10, 2000, at 11 a.m. in Gifford Funeral
Home with the Rev. Ronald Benoit officiating. Memories and a poem were
shared by Michael’s father, Harley Brown, and his sisters, Arminda Brown
and Penny Sue Rozon Louko. Burial took place in Holy Rosary Cemetery
with the Rev. Benoit conducting the committal prayers. Bearers, all
nephews, were Clifton Burnell Jr., Brock Burnell, Harley Brown IV, Glenn
Brown, and John Young. Attending the service were representatives from
Harrington’s, Vermont State Hospital, Vermont Transit, Snake Mountain
Chapter FOR of Addison, and neighbors and friends. Gifford Funeral
Service, 22 Depot Street, Richmond, was in charge of arrangements.
