Vermont History and Genealogy 
I wonder if the genealogy for President Chester Arthur is correct as I think his father’s surname was “Arthur” — not ‘MacArthur”. The actual marriage record for his parents has his signature as ‘William Arthur”/ I cab send you a copy if you would like it..

My father was Lyndon Liberty and William Stratton was my Grandfather on my mother’s side. I have genealogy for both.

I am doing research on the early firearms manufacturing industry along Otter Creek (indcluding Champlain Arsenal) and am wondering if you have found any information of this subject. By the way, I live in a Ferrisburg house supposedly build ca 1842-3 with gold found in a crock on the property. Ever hear of such a story? I’ve enjoyed your work very much.

I have a little early information on the Blaisdell and Standish families in Randolph and Montpelier which I am glad to share.
I hope to locate a cemetery in “West Randolph” where one Moses Standish was buried in 1840.
I know of an 1822 Standish/Blaisdell marriage in Montpelier which does not appear on the Town Clerk’s record for 1821-1830.

Much of my Kelley family is buried at Park Lawn in Bennington, Vermont. Is Bennington part of this area of Rutland? They were early pioneers and had at least five generations born in Bennington. Do you know any of these names: Lorenzo (brothers and sisters: Beatrice, Veronica, Charles…) born to Edward Leo Kelley and Helena LaFlamme. I have more names further back. I’ve been trying to find some information on John Warner b. 1615 England came on the “Increase” to America.
His son John Warner who married Margaret Howard,
His son Ebenezer Warner who married Martha Galpin.
You are the only one who has the same children as I do.
I received my line of Warner’s from the Ancestral Files at the Family History Center at the L.D.S.
some years ago, before most of us had computers. It didn’t come with references. I am just getting around to researching this line. I was wondering where you got your information and if you’d would share it with me.

Ma’am, am trying to locate obituary on Larry (E) Wimble, died 1994. Assume buried in Resurrection Park Cemetery with his wife, Gertrude M Bean Wimble, dob 04/18/24, died 08/23/2001. My great great grandfather, Samuel F Fuller came to Michigan from the Ft Ticongeroga, NY area (I think). His father, William, was born about 1765 and died before 1845. His mother, Martha Bliss, came to MI with him and died in 1860.
Samuel was married to Sarah (Sally) Spicer but I cannot find any more detail on his father, William.

I’m researching the family line of Joseph and Susannah who migrated eventually from Vermont to Iowa and then Montana but had connections with Johnson and Cambridge (and possibly other places)

Came by this site today and was wondering if you or anyone on here knows about War of 1812 Brigadier General Edmund Munger who was buried in Centerville Ohio ….I think he died in 1850 or 1851…. He settled in the Centerville area in 1799 with his brother, Revolutionary War veteran Jonathan Munger.Just wanted to get in touch with his descendants….I’m trying to trace a house he once owned.

Is it possible that the family of John Dewey came originally from Antwerp (now Belgium) or Douai (now France). That is something that is mentionned in biographies of John Dewey but never proven by historic facts…?
